How To Know If You Website Is Responsive Using These 4 Websites

In simple terms, today i will be saving you the stress of testing out your web pages in multiple devices individually, before confirming whether it is responsive or not. So I'll be listing out four websites, where you can go check if that website you are creating is compatible with all device screen sizes and resolutions

Let's say you are designing a new website and you don't know how it will look like on different devices, maybe a desktop or Laptop computer, tablet devices or smartphones, you can always run to these websites i will be listing out shortly to help you with that.

But before we go any further, for those people like me out there reading this, that doesn't know what a website being responsive means, it simply means that your website should be able to adapt to any screen size or resolution it is displayed on. Just like we have millions of devices all over the places today, we also have dozens of screen resolution... But don't worry, you're not actually going to be writing codes for each screen separately, there are rules and principles to do that.

So welcome back guys, now these are the websites we will be talking about today. No. 1 on my list here we have...

Am i Responsive

This is the very first place i went to when i was designing correctBlogger, in this place, you will be given a presentation of your website in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet and Smart Phone layout.

But in this case, that's where the whole thing ends, you are not given any option to input a custom resolution of your own. So just head straight there right now and input your web url address. Click Here Now, to give it a try.

Responsinator

One feature i love about the responsinator is that, you will be given a presentation of your website, both in Portrait and Landscape mode.

But you also don't have the luxury of using your own custom resolution, you only accept what is being offered to you, and they only make use of apple devices. Click Here to see things for yourself.

Responsive Design Checker

Yes we are finally in the third phase of designing our responsive website, and that brings us to Responsive Design Checker.

Now one thing i love about these guys is that, you are not only stuck to what you're being offered, they've got a huge list of different devices you can check your website on, ranging from desktop, to laptops, to tablets and smart phones, not just smart phones, but it includes both Apple and Android devices, and these devices comes with different screen resolutions. Check out these photos to see what i mean.

QuirkTools

One thing i love about these guys is that, you're not only given a huge range of devices to test with, but you're also given the freedom to add your own custom resolutions, lets say 768 x 1028.. check out these photos below..
